Intertextual Interpretation is no more….welcome to Secundum Scripturas, or “According to the Scriptures.” This change is due to the fact that this blog is (thankfully!) getting a co-contributor.
Luke Wisley is a very good friend of mine who shares my desire to do serious biblical scholarship without losing sight of its theological implications.
We agreed that a name change was best, since this new name implies that a broader variety of topics will be covered other than just intertextuality. It is also because while my primary training is in the New Testament, Luke’s is in the OT, and so we felt that this new name covered both our areas of interest and training.
I’ll let Luke introduce himself in a later post, but I’m excited that he’s agreed to write here.
Indeed. Welcome to Luke.
David, Thanks for the welcome. It was nice seeing you at SBL.

Matt,
Glad to see that you are doing a blog like this. I look forward to interacting with you here in the future.
